Trading Running Shoes for Golf Shoes: MAEF's First Golf Marathon a Success!

Since the Moonlit 5K took a hiatus due to construction on the new secondary campus facilities, the Moon Area Education Foundation found a new way to bring the community together. On Wednesday, June 17, seven dedicated Moon Area educators and administrators teed off at Montour Heights Country Club & Golf Course for the inaugural MAEF Golf Marathon, playing from sunrise to sunset in support of Moon Area students.
These seven Moon Area educators and administrators teed off for excellence in education and completed 60 holes of golf in 12 hours and 53 minutes while raising over $16,000 in support of MAEF's mission.Â
