As 2025 draws to a close, the Moon Area Education Foundation (MAEF) reflects on a year filled with meaningful accomplishments and community engagement.

Moon Area students built a STEAM shed with skills in carpentry, wiring, and plumbing—thanks to MAEF & Eaton’s 2024 Community Grant.

The 2025 Moonlit 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run brought the Moon community together for a night of fitness, family, and giving back. Hosted by the Moon Area Education Foundation (MAEF) at Tiger Stadium, the event supported scholarships, classroom grants, STEAM projects, and more—plus a new cereal drive partnership with CCDC.
